Custard biscuits

250g butter
½ cup icing sugar
1 Tspn vanilla essence
1¾ cups cake flour
½ cup Royal custard powder

Preheat the oven to 180ºC, prepare 2 baking trays with baking paper.
Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy, and vanilla.
Slowly add flour and custard powder until combined.
Roll heaped teaspoonfuls into balls, place on prepared trays, and press down lightly with a fork.
Bake for 12 minutes until golden.
